Not really connected to writing books or kindle, but still:
Just discovered there are Android ports for Doom!
Quite an exciting development, since my childhood was something that happened BETWEEN sessions of Doom, Doom 2, Hexen, Heretic, Quake and a few more games ...

Although time consuming, destroying relationships and all around a bad (not to mention violent thing), still computer games were part of what made me an author. Actually, being a computer games development was always a second choice for me, if writing didn't work out.
But it must be remembered that playing a computer game is living someone else's fantasy. Writing is creating fantasy of your own.
