Continuing my Science Fiction military thriller line (as opposed to the fantasy line in Dragon Over Washington and The Fire At The Gates), Mechanical tells the story of Lieutenant Riley, who is summoned by the military forces, armed with a very special new weapon and sent into enemy occupied Manhattan to perform a mission that may win a war that has been raging for over three years in the United States of America.
